Those videos are so cute, Veronica! I love the soft sounds the male makes as he settles on the eggs. I saved a couple of pics from the videos. The first two are of the female getting ready to lay the fourth egg, and the second two are of the male coming back to incubate.

This bird was spotted in Maryland. The person that had posted it on another board said to please go ahead and post this here too, they'd really like to find out who she is. It's possibly a bird from somewhere in New York: Black/green 27/U, silver USFWS band
Per my friend -- I asked the photographer if it
was ok to share the pictures and he said yes. He is
most anxious to find out who this bird is. By the
way, he thought it was a female, by size. It's funny
how he found the bird. He was on a trip to the
hardware store early in the AM and it was on the
ground eating a gull. I don't think he made it to the
hardware store.

Madame X laid her first egg at Hamilton yesterday. According to the site, she has laid four eggs every year since she first started breeding in 2001.
