I see that on alot of falcons I always paniced when I first saw it I thought they had hurt themselves somehow, but it seems not to be anything I think someone had said before its just the feathers in a mess or something to that effect. (Someone else that knows more than me which is everyone) probably can tell you more,

Is something wrong with her ? the white spot? on right wing?? I dunno, maybe a problem and maybe just tired I think her wing is fine, patis. At this time of year, after the breeding season and before those who migrate leave the area, the falcons have been molting. So in some cases the feathers will look a little rough as some feathers are shed and new feathers grow in. Yesterday at the nest: The beautiful female: Today one of the adults has been at the nest, but so far she has only provided back views.

The female at the nest: I think it was the male who was on the perch earlier.

Well I see they plan on getting Sheco back up found this at RRPIn other news, we are going to be working with Xcel Energy on getting the cams and video up and operational. Bob believes he has found a really good wireless system that we plan to test at Sherco next week, so keep an eye out for that cam to come back online.
