The Raptor Resource Project has a new website design! We hope you like it. We did keep the archival cams page and favorite features like the forum, the eagle maps, and the calendar should not change much. We are working on clearing up lingering issues with the server migration and the Xcel Energy cams should be back soon as well.
Since they were first seen in N2B on October 7th, the Decorah eagles have been hard at work on N2B. They began with structural materials (sticks), but began mixing in softer materials for the center of the bowl, building in layers. A couple of observations: Wonky sticks are harder to place but lock into place better than straight sticks, making for great scaffolding. We used leafy debris to fill up the center of the nest.
