Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! As we approach the end of 2019, all of us at the Raptor Resource Project want to thank you, our supporters. We are grateful for all you do for us and the birds you love – celebrating their lives in snapshots, videos, observations, and comments, sharing them online and with friends, family, and even strangers, acting locally to care for birds in your backyards and neighborhoods, and supporting us in our mission of preserving and strengthening raptor populations, expanding participation in raptor conservation, and educating people around the world about raptors and their habitats. You celebrate your favorite eagles and falcons, marvel at the birds of the Mississippi Flyway, and come together to share joy and mourn loss in the birds’ lives and in your own.

Join us for #GivingTuesday!

We are inviting you to join us for #GivingTuesday, our year-end fundraiser, on Tuesday, December 3rd. We’ll be chatting, celebrating, and having fun from 8am to 5pm central on our website at https://www.raptorresource.org/birdcams/decorah-eagles/. Amy and John will be dropping in to say “Hi” and answer any questions you might have about the year, our technology, how we get to nests, what it takes to keep cameras running, or anything else you have your mind!

Would you like to share some favorite memories or images from the Decorah Eagles, the Decorah North Eagles, the Great Spirit Bluff Falcons, the Mississippi Flyway, or any of the Xcel nests via our Facebook page? We’ll be putting up an album for fan art! Send your image and a brief memory to [email protected], or message us on our Facebook page.

Thank you for caring about our birds and the places they call home. Thank you for making a difference online and in your own lives. Thank you for supporting our work and our mission. Thank you for sharing your art and your eagle and falcon stories. You have deepened our lives an immeasurable amount and for that we will always be thankful!
