Mr. North is in his happy place! He met egg #1 for the first time this year at 7:05 this morning. We all love to see an incredible eagle Dad get his first glimpse of the egg…especially when he’s as dedicated as Mr. North!
I’m hesitant to forecast egg #2 given how thoroughly DNF surprised us, but if she sticks to her usual schedule, look for it on Friday afternoon. If you’d like to hang out and celebrate eggs or talk about the Decorah North Eagles, join us here: https://www.raptorresource.org/birdcams/decorah-north-nest/. We’re always live streaming, but we’ll also be chatting Monday through Saturday from 9-10am & 6-7 pm CT. Bring your questions, your comments, your curiosity, and your favorite snacks, and join us for a friendly caw-fee klatch!

We look forward to seeing you! Questions about DNF’s eggnancy? Follow this link: https://www.raptorresource.org/2025/02/11/how-long-does-it-take-a-bald-eagle-to-lay-an-egg-3/.
You are always welcome to donate – your donations keep the lights on and the cameras streaming! – but we’ll be holding our first egg fundraiser on February 22. You can donate via PayPal, Network For Good, Venmo, or by check: https://www.raptorresource.org/support-the-raptor-resource-project/make-a-donation/.
