Dairyland Power Falcon Cams

Dairyland Genoa Falcons

Thank you for watching the Dairyland Power falcons with us this year! All four young falcons fledged and the cam has been turned off for the season. We look forward to seeing you in 2017!

The Genoa falcons are nesting in a nest box on the 400 foot level of the Dairyland Power stack in Genoa, Wisconsin, next to the Mississippi River. This nest was first productive in 1998 and has produced 58 falcons to date (2016).

Dairyland Alma Falcons

The Dairyland Alma falcons decided to nest on 12-Mile Bluff this year, in a nestbox located in a pothole on the cliff immediately behind the Alma plant. The Alma territory first became productive in 1997 and has produced 71 falcons to date.
