Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

Please join us on November 28, the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, for our fundraiser on Giving Tuesday! Once again, we will be asking for donations to support our work. Any donation in any amount helps us carry out our mission to conserve birds of prey, educate people around the world about raptors and their habitats, and transform knowledge and passion into conservation action!

  • Our live streams provide captivating glimpses into the lives of bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and species on the Mississippi Flyway, allowing viewers from around the world to connect with birds in their natural habitats. Your support helps us maintain and improve our camera systems, ensuring that people of all ages can experience the beauty and wonder of birds.
  • From peregrine falcon banding to raptor trapping to golden eagle tracking, our research programs help unravel the mysteries of raptors. With your help, we can continue to expand our efforts, providing valuable insights into the behavior, migration patterns, and conservation needs of these birds. Your support contributes to the preservation of these vital species for generations to come.
  • Our education outreach inspires the next generation of conservationists by fostering a love and appreciation for birds of prey among students. Your support lets us provide hands-on experiences, introducing young minds to the importance of conservation and ecological balance.

With our excellent staff and equipment – paid for by you! – we are here almost every day of the year to let you know about your favorite bald eagles, falcons, and Flyway birds. Our volunteer chat moderators and camera operators spend hours sharing the stories and images of their lives. We’re working behind the scenes to maintain nest sites, monitor peregrine falcons and bald eagles, introduce students to raptors through our banding stations and meet-a-raptor programs, and collect data to help protect raptors and their habitat.

You can make a donation online at PayPal, NetWork for Good, or Venmo. If you prefer to send a check, please send it to The Raptor Resource Project, PO Box 16, Decorah IA 52101. And if you shop on amazon.com, this link will give us a small commission: https://amzn.to/3sOUx6F.

Thank you for being an essential part of our community: for watching with us, for supporting our work, and for embracing the natural world however you can. We couldn’t do it without your help.
