- From peregrine falcon banding to raptor trapping to golden eagle tracking, our research programs help unravel the mysteries of raptors. With our excellent staff and equipment – paid for by you! – we are here almost every day of the year to let you know about your favorite bald eagles, falcons, and Flyway birds. Our volunteer chat moderators and camera operators spend hours sharing the stories and images of their lives. We’re working behind the scenes to maintain nest sites, monitor peregrine falcons and bald eagles, introduce students to raptors through our banding stations and meet-a-raptor programs, and collect data to help protect raptors and their habitat.
